Celebrate Hudson 2026: Everything to Know Before You Go

It's almost time! Celebrate Hudson takes over Downtown Hudson Saturday, September 19, and we're getting ready to welcome visitors for an afternoon of music, food, vendors, shopping, family activities, cars, performances and more.

Save this guide for the essentials before you head downtown.

When Is Celebrate Hudson?

Saturday, September 19, 2026.

The downtown festival and family activities run from 1:00–5:00 PM. The Main Stage and Beer Garden at Avidia Bank/South Street run from 1:00–7:00 PM, with the official After-Party from 5:00–7:00 PM.

Want to start early? The Friends of the Library Book Sale runs from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Is It Free?

Yes! Celebrate Hudson is FREE to attend.

The downtown festival, family activity areas, entertainment, Motors on Main and Colonial Trolley rides are free for attendees. Food, beverages, beer/wine, merchandise and purchases from individual vendors and businesses are available separately.

What Can I Do?

Enjoy live music. Catch performances. Explore Touch-a-Truck. Take the kids to bounce houses and a foam party. Get faces painted. Visit kiddie amusements. Browse arts and crafts vendors. Check out Motors on Main. Shop downtown. Grab something to eat. Ride the trolley. Stay for the After-Party.

Where Should I Start?

Wherever you want. Celebrate Hudson isn't designed around one entrance or starting point.

We intentionally don't publish booth numbers. We want visitors to travel through the festival, meet different participants, visit local businesses and discover everything Downtown Hudson has to offer.

How Do I Get Around?

Walking is the easiest way to explore much of Celebrate Hudson, so wear comfortable shoes.

FREE Colonial Trolley rides run from 1:00–4:00 PM, with five stops throughout downtown. Trolley service can become busy, so enjoy it as part of the experience rather than relying on it for exact timing.

Parking & Traffic

Public parking is available in municipal lots, public parking areas and on-street spaces throughout downtown, including all-day public parking on Railroad Avenue.

Some normal parking areas will be used for festival programming, so check the Downtown Hudson Parking Map, follow posted restrictions and give yourself extra time.

There are no full road closures planned, but pedestrian traffic will be heavy. Please use extra caution and patience.

Bathrooms

Portable restrooms will be available during Celebrate Hudson.

Pets

Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome. Owners are responsible for keeping pets under control and cleaning up after them.

Before bringing a dog, consider crowds, noise, weather and pavement temperature, access to water and whether your individual pet will be comfortable spending time at a large festival.

One Last Reminder

Celebrate Hudson is a big day for our small downtown. Restaurants will be busy. Parking will be busy. Trolleys may have lines. Our businesses, volunteers, event team and public safety partners will be working hard throughout the day.

Be kind, take your time and enjoy being part of it. Walk around. Follow the music. Talk to a vendor. Look at some cool cars. Let the kids play. Buy something from a local business. Grab dinner. Stay for the After-Party.
