Celebrate Hudson is back! On Saturday, September 19, Downtown Hudson will come alive with live music, family activities, food, local businesses, vendors, community organizations, a car show, free trolley rides and plenty to explore.

The downtown festival runs from 1:00–5:00 PM, with the Main Stage and Beer Garden at the Avidia Bank/South Street area continuing until 7:00 PM. The official After-Party runs from 5:00–7:00 PM.

Celebrate Hudson is FREE to attend, and activities are spread throughout downtown. Rather than keeping everything in one location, the festival is designed to encourage you to walk, explore, visit local businesses and discover something happening around every corner.

Come Downtown Early

The Friends of the Library Book Sale begins at 10:00 AM and runs until 3:00 PM, giving you a great reason to start your day downtown before Celebrate Hudson officially begins at 1:00 PM.

Main Stage & After-Party

The Main Stage is located at the Avidia Bank/South Street area and runs from 1:00–7:00 PM.

Ryan Pinette & The Baystaters kick things off starting at 1:00 PM with a Tom Petty tribute. Another Tequila Sunrise takes the stage from 4:00–7:00 PM with an Eagles tribute.

The official Celebrate Hudson After-Party runs from 5:00–7:00 PM at the same Avidia Bank/South Street area, with Another Tequila Sunrise continuing on the Main Stage.

The Beer Garden is open from 1:00–7:00 PM, with beer and wine available for purchase within the designated Beer Garden area.

Seven Areas to Explore

  • Avidia Bank/South Street — Main Stage, Beer Garden, food and festival activity

  • Hudson Armory — Touch-a-Truck, performances, food and more

  • Avidia Bank/Church Street — kiddie amusements and family-friendly activities

  • Boys & Girls Club MetroWest area — arts and crafts vendors, organizations and a trolley stop

  • Main Street Bank — face painting, kids activities, vendors and food

  • Assabet River Rail Trail — Motors on Main Car Show, 1:00–4:00 PM

  • Cellucci Park — foam party, bounce houses/inflatables, food and family fun

Entertainment Around Downtown

At the Armory, catch InFlyte Entertainment at 1:30 PM, along with performances from The Rock Institute and Bach to Rock during the afternoon and Voices of MetroWest around 3:30 PM.

Additional participating businesses, nonprofits and community organizations will be spread throughout downtown, so keep an eye out for activities and surprises as you explore.

Ride the Trolley

FREE Colonial Trolley rides run from 1:00–4:00 PM. Holly and Ellie will continuously circulate between five stops at the Boys & Girls Club, Robinson's Lot, Cellucci Park/Avidia Bank, Main Street Bank and Motors on Main.

The trolley was a huge hit last year, so please keep in mind there may be a wait during especially busy portions of the afternoon.

Come Hungry

Food is spread throughout the festival rather than confined to one food-truck area. You'll find food trucks, mobile vendors, specialty foods and sweet treats at multiple festival locations, in addition to Downtown Hudson's restaurants, bars, cafés and bakeries.

Food, beverages, beer/wine, merchandise and purchases from individual vendors and businesses are available for purchase separately.

Parking & Getting Around

Public parking is available throughout Downtown Hudson in municipal lots, public parking areas and on-street spaces. Railroad Avenue includes all-day public parking.

Some areas normally used for parking are part of the festival footprint, so give yourself extra time, follow posted signs and restrictions, and check the Downtown Hudson Parking Map before heading downtown.

There are no full road closures planned for Celebrate Hudson. Downtown will remain active, so drivers and pedestrians should use extra caution and patience throughout the day.

A Few More Things to Know

Portable restrooms will be available during the event.

Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome. Please consider crowds, noise, weather, pavement temperature, water access and whether your pet will be comfortable in a busy festival environment. Owners are responsible for keeping pets under control and cleaning up after them.

Celebrate Hudson is rain or shine — but help us manifest beautiful weather! For severe weather or safety-related changes, watch Discover Hudson's official channels.
