An August Weekend of Art, Music and Community in Hudson

August weekends offer some of the best opportunities to experience Hudson. This recent weekend brought together art, live music, cultural experiences, community gatherings, dining, and other reasons to explore. Residents and visitors could shape their plans around one major event or combine several activities into a full day.
Art and History
A special photography exhibition at Hudson Art & Framing introduced visitors to historic photographic works and processes. Related tintype portrait sessions provided an opportunity to experience a hands-on connection to early photography. These types of exhibitions help make art and history feel immediate, personal, and accessible.
Live Music Downtown
The Downtown Hudson Summer Music Series continued to bring free entertainment to the Town Hall lawn. Outdoor performances create a relaxed gathering place where audiences can enjoy music, bring food, connect with friends, and experience the energy of downtown on a summer afternoon.
Community Celebrations
Larger community events also brought residents and regional visitors together around food, drinks, entertainment, and shared experiences. These events support local organizations, generate activity, and give people another reason to discover Hudson.
Thank You for Participating
