Your Guide to Navigating ArtsFest Hudson 2026
If you’re heading to ArtsFest in Hudson, one thing becomes clear almost immediately: this isn’t a single-location event. It’s a full downtown experience, designed to unfold as you move through it.
The ArtsFest Hudson map is more than just a reference—it’s your guide to discovering everything the event has to offer, from live music and art installations to vendors, activities, and food spread across multiple locations.
An Event Meant to Be Explored
ArtsFest is intentionally designed so that no one section tells the whole story. As noted on the official map, the event is “designed to be experienced, not rushed.”
That philosophy shows up in how the event is laid out. Vendors are spread across different zones. Activities appear in unexpected places. Music happens in more than one location. The goal is simple: keep moving, keep exploring, and let the day unfold naturally.
Understanding the Layout
Downtown Hudson becomes a connected network of experiences during ArtsFest, with several key areas anchoring the event.
The Rotary and Main Street area is often where people begin. It’s a natural entry point, offering a quieter introduction before things open up into larger, busier sections. From there, the path typically leads toward Town Hall.
Town Hall serves as the central hub of the event. This is where you’ll find one of the main music stages, along with a high concentration of activity, foot traffic, and energy. Performances run throughout the afternoon, including Little Black Dress from 12:00 to 2:30 and High Harmony Duo from 2:30 to 5:00. The space around Town Hall also hosts interactive elements and community-focused experiences, making it a natural place to pause and take it all in.
From there, many visitors move toward the Avidia Bank lot on Pope Street. This is one of the most densely packed vendor areas, where rows of artists and makers create a more traditional “festival market” feel. It’s also where you’ll find the aerial performances by InFlyte Entertainment, scheduled from 3:30 to 4:30, adding another layer of visual interest to the space.
Mullahy’s area sits in between larger zones and is easy to overlook if you’re not paying attention—but it’s worth the stop. This smaller section often holds some of the most unique finds, and its scale makes it feel a bit more relaxed.
The Main Street Bank lot rounds out the experience with a second music stage, additional vendors, and nearby food options. Performances here include the Kenny Selcer and Steve Gilligan Duo from 12:00 to 2:30, followed by Heads of Steam from 2:30 to 5:00. This area tends to draw people looking to settle in for a bit—whether that’s to listen to music, grab something to eat, or simply take a break.

Art and Activity Throughout Downtown
One of the defining features of ArtsFest is that it doesn’t confine creativity to one place. Art is integrated throughout the entire downtown.
You’ll encounter student artwork displayed in business windows, interactive art stations, live demonstrations, and opportunities to participate in community art projects. Henna and body art are also part of the experience, along with activities hosted by local schools and organizations.
These elements are intentionally spread out, so part of the experience is discovering them as you move from one area to another.
Finding the Vendors
With more than 50 artists, makers, and local businesses participating, the vendor experience is designed to reward exploration.
Rather than concentrating everyone in one place, vendors are distributed across all zones. This means you’ll encounter different styles, products, and personalities as you move through the event. It also means that the best approach is not to stop after one section—there is always more to see just a little further down the path.
Food, Breaks, and the Flow of the Day
As you explore, you’ll find food and drink options woven into the experience. Some are part of the event itself, while others are local businesses that become part of the day simply by being open and active.
Downtown Hudson’s restaurants, cafés, and shops play an important role during ArtsFest. It’s not unusual to step off the route, grab a drink, sit for a few minutes, and then continue exploring.
This rhythm—walk, browse, pause, repeat—is part of what makes the event feel enjoyable rather than overwhelming.
How to Use the Map Effectively
The simplest way to approach ArtsFest is to treat the map as a guide, not a checklist.
Start wherever you are. Choose a direction. Move through each section with the understanding that you’ll likely circle back at some point. The layout encourages looping, and most people find themselves revisiting areas they passed through earlier in the day.
There’s no single “correct” route, but the most complete experience comes from seeing all of it.
A Final Thought Before You Go
The map will help you find your way, but the real value of ArtsFest comes from what you discover along the way.
Take the extra turn. Stop at the booth you weren’t planning to visit. Wander into the section that seems a little quieter.
That’s where the event comes to life.
